I'm currently leading a women's small group on the Attributes of God by @thedailygraceco 🤎 It's been so good and intriguing to learn more on who my God is.
This past week one of the attributes we studied was "incomprehensible + transcendent."
It is probably my favorite attribute we have studied so far.
Why?
Because even though we can never truly know Him, He's still knowable. We can constantly pursue Him. There is always something new to learn or see when it comes to God. To me, it's so fun and encouraging. I'm always welcoming a new quirk from the Lord.
To some this can be discouraging. Why pursue if you will never truly know Him? My answer would have to be: why not? One of my favorite things about marriage is that even if you know your spouse so well, there are still new things to learn. It's exciting and intimate. Thats how it can be with God if you choose it.
Life would be so boring if God was so predictable.
